Each employee is required to submit the appropriate identification and certifications, pass a background check, and attend safety training prior to and during work at each job site. Fleet Safety Policy:
Acero Construction Services, Inc.drivers must be over the age of 21 and will observe and adhere to all Motor Vehicle Laws, driving in a safe and courteous manner at all times.
Potential new drivers will be required to provide a copy of their Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) as provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) before their actual start of employment. Those meeting one or more the criteria listed below WILL NOT be employed in a driving position:
• Suspended license
• Three or more moving violations in the previous three years
• Driving Under the Influence conviction in the previous seven years
• Any felony conviction involving a motor vehicle in the previous seven years
Alcohol and Drug Free Workforce:
Our company wide drug policy requires all employees to take a pre-employment physical and drug test prior to start of work on a job site. Our alcohol and drug free policy also includes random follow-up and post accident drug testing.
Acero Construction Services, Inc. reserves the right to have authorized personnel conduct drug screening tests under the following circumstances:
• Pre-Hire Drug Screening
• Pre-Job Drug Screening
• Post-Accident or Injury Drug Screening
• Random Drug Screening
• Reasonable Suspicion Drug Screening
Furthermore, from time to time, Acero Construction Services, Inc. may be contractually obligated to adhere to the substance abuse policies of another employer, owner or governmental agency and additional requirements or procedures, not outlined in this policy, may have to be implemented. Any employee found in violation of these policies may be terminated immediately.
